James Barney Hall, son of Francis Marion Hall and Rebecca A Geiger, born about 1870, died 1952, Clay CO, FL, married Katie McSwain, born 22 Sep 1787, FL, died 27 Oct 1964, Duval CO, FL, buried Pellicer Creek Cemetery, St Johns CO, FL.

James B. Hall was the first of his family to move to Flagler Co. He worked in the logging business for a Mr. DuPont then worked with Walter Cody. He was also a Baptist preacher. Issue;

3. Cynthia Delie Hall, born 17 Apr 1898, FL, died 17 Jun 1997, Jacksonville, Duval CO, FL, married 28 Feb 1918, Flagler CO, FL, Arthur Myrick Wood, born 28 Sep 1897, RI, died 17 Sep 1983, St Johns CO, FL, buried Pellicer Creek Cemetery, St Johns CO, FL.

They are listed on page 26 of the 1920 census of Flagler County with his occupation given as "Laborer Farm." He came from Pawtucket, RI. and worked with Harry Clegg (had known him in R.I.).

4. Bessie B. Hall, born about 1904, FL

5. Deborah Hall, born about 1908, FL

6. Alton Freeman Hall, born 19 Feb 1913, FL, died 26 Mar 2002, Jacksonville, Duval CO, FL, married Lillian H LNU, born 09 Mar 1916

They had three girls who died in infancy, Elizabeth, Mary and Martha.
