Dana Evans Fuquay, 55, Daytona Beach, died suddenly Saturday night after a heart attack. He is the son of Dana F. Fuquay, one of Flagler County's early developers and builder of Flagler Manor.

Born in Daytona Beach, he spent his childhood at Flagler Beach where he attended school, and later moved to Daytona Beach where he was a building contractor.

Survivors include his father, Dana F. Fuquay, Daytona Beach; two daughters, Naomi Sue Sims and Eula Ann Fuquay, Daytona Beach; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Massie, South Daytona, and Mrs. Philip Kester, Flagler Beach; and one granddaughter.

Services were held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at Baggett-McIntosh with Rev. Norman Bennett, Jr., pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in Bellevue Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were John Roberts, Freeman Roberts, William Williams, Sonny Dennis and Sam Crawford.
