Andrew F. Tucker, 55-year-old cattleman of the Haw Creek section, died in Glendale Hospital at Palatka Saturday afternoon following a paralytic stroke about noon Friday while herding cattle near his home. He was owner of one of the largest herds of cattle in this county.

Mr. Tucker was born and reared at Ft. Christmas, Florida. He came to Flagler County seven years ago, locating in the Haw Creek community. While at Ft. Christmas he was engaged in the mercantile business for 18 years, but has been in the cattle business since coming to this county. He was a member of the First. Baptist Church of Bunnell, having moved his membership from Ft. Christmas where he joined the Baptist church 30 years ago.

Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church here Monday morning at 11 o'clock, with Edwin R. Dow, of Flagler Beach, conducting the services. Burial was made at Ft. Christmas at 3 P. M. with Rev. J. A. Sutton, pastor of the Ft. Christmas Baptist Church, officiating.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lizzie Tucker, seven sons, Cecil A. of Ft. Christmas; Kenneth L., Raymond F., Gilbert A., Alfred R., Marvin R., and Leslie M., of Bunnell; two brothers, Roy of Cocoa and John of Bunnell; also three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Hodges of Cocoa; Mrs. H. D. Cox of Ft. Christmas and Mrs. Annie Jacobs of Chuluota. Also four grandchildren.

Active pallbearers included K. K. Knight, E. A. Hunter, M. C. Strickland, W. E. Knight, T. E. Holden, R. W. Cody, O. O. Cox, G. W. Coward, W. B. Llewellyn and W. N. Savage. Honorary pallbearers were George Allen, D. D. Moody, Dale Brown, J. F. Mercer, C. R. Creal, John Dahlquist, W. H. Deen and J. H. McKnight, Sr.
