Will Tucker, 54, Negro shoeshine boy at Lewis Barber Shop since 1939 died Sunday morning at 11 o'clock in his home here.

Will was born and reared in Monticello, Florida, where he knew many of the prominent men of that West Florida city. Likewise, he knew all of the so-called prominent men of this city.

Will Tucker had only a smattering of schooling; he was totally blind in one eye, from a sawmill accident; he was as responsible as could be expected; arid he was faithful in his duties as a worker.

He is missed by most of the business people in the barber shop block.

Not only did Will Tucker shine shoes, but ran errands, did janitor work, hauled or toted mail, express, parcel post and freight for many of us in the block.
