James Mullen Tweed of Bunnell died at the Flagler Clinic and Hospital here at 8:30 P. M. on December 30, following a long illness.

He was a native of Thurber, Texas, and had been a resident of Flagler County since 1934. Before coming to Florida he worked in the coal mines. He was 70 years of age.

Graveside funeral services were held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at the Espanola Cemetery. Rev. Wesley Wilder, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Bunnell, officiated.

Mr. Tweed is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Mae Tweed of Bunnell and one son, Robert Tweed of Bunnell; and one niece, Mrs. Edward Newberry of Fort Worth, Texas.

Pallbearers were Ralph Harbert, Dale Brown, D. D. Moody, Fitzhugh Malphurs, Raymond Smith and Joe Tidwell.

Funeral arrangements were under direction of Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine.
