Julius Zolobkowski, who has resided at his home here on Deen Road for about two years, died Tuesday in the Lake City Veterans Hospital following an illness of about a year. He had been in the hospital since May of this year.

Mr. Zolobkowski, who was 64 years of age, was born in Poland and came to the United States when he was 17 years of age. He was a naturalized citizen, veteran of World War I, member of the American, and the Polish National Alliance of New York City. He worked for the New York City Transit System as the maintenance superintendent B. M. T. Lines for 29 years. He retired two years ago.

Funeral Services was held in Lake City Wednesday morning with the hospital Chaplin, Rev. Burris, officiating. The body was shipped Wednesday afternoon for interment in the Pinelawn National Cemetery in Farmingdale, Long Island, N.Y.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sophia Zolobkowski, Bunnell; 1 daughter, Helen Wysocki, Fresno, California; 2 sons Joseph of Plainview L. I., N. Y., and Edward of Bablon L. I., N. Y. and 9 grand children. Also surviving are 3 step-daughters, Helene Pettersen, Collingswood, N. J.; Ann Finkelson and Carol Ares of Staten Island, N.Y.; 1 step-son, Stanley. Also 3 step-grandchildren all of New York.
