Ivan Adelbert Bean

Ivan Adelbert. Bean, born 12 Jan 1882, N Y and his wife, Abicilla Verna, born about 1882, GA, are found on page 59 of the 1910 census of St. Johns County and residing in the St. Johns Park area, and on page 29 of the 1920 census of Flagler County with his occupation given as "Merchant-General Store." Their General Store in St. Johns Park was said to have carried everything. Living quarters were built back of the store. Mrs Bean had two children by her former marriage and Mr and Mrs Bean had one son;

1. Estelle Collier (Step Daughter), born 02 Dec 1904, FL, died 09 Dec 1988, Alachua CO, FL m Boyd Carleton, born about 1894, MA, died 1924, Lake CO, FL. He was a school teacher and was the victim of a drowning accident. Her 2nd m N.S. McCormick. Issue by 1st m;

(1) a son - Carleton born between 1920-1924, FL

(2) Marjorie Carleton born between 1920-1924, FL

2. Jesse Collier (Step-son), born 10 Jan 1907, FL, died 01 Jan 1976, Delano, Kern CO, CA Resided in Pacifica, Calif. He married and had an adopted son Billy.

3. Wesley Samuel Bean born 16 Jul 1908, FL, died 27 April 1993, Alachua CO, FL m 4 July 1937 Beatrice Schafer. He was an electrical contractor and operated Shorty Bean's Electric Shop in Gainesville Fla. Issue;

(2) Verna Bean m Arnold Schwtz of Hoffheim, Germany. Issue;
