William Frank Booe was born 26 Sept 1895 in Steam Corner, Fountain CO, IN and died 07 Nov 1955, Daytona Beach, Volusia CO, FL. He is buried in Hope, now Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, Cemetery, Flagler CO, FL, married 26 Sep1917, Crescent City, Putnam CO, FL, Clara Blanche Jones, daughter of Joseph Leon Jones and Rosa Edna Braddock, born 30 Apr 1899, St Mary’s, Camden CO, GA, died 10 Jan 1966, Bunnell General Hospital, Bunnell, Flagler CO, FL, buried Volusia Memorial Gardens, Ormond Beach, Volusia CO, FL.
William Booe worked with his Dad at the Haw Creek Farms before moving to Bunnell where he worked about one year for the Service Garage owned by C A Smith, one year in his own shop, two years for the Biddle Brothers Motor company and continued in the same shop fourteen months, to 11 Feb 1925 with the Bunnell Motor Company (Bill Kudrna), the latter part of which time, as shop foreman.
On 11 Feb 1925, the family moved to Ft. Lauderdale where he worked as a projectionist at the first movie theater, and she worked as an assistant tailor then in charge of the lingerie department in a department store.
They do not go to Fort Lauderdale among entire strangers. His brother, Warben and family, Armas H Buzzard and family, and James Crabtree and family lived there. The Turner’s, Wright’s, and Teasor’s were living in Hollywood, and the Reynolds’, Schwartz’s, Harding’s and Hogan’s were living at West Palm Beach - - all former Flagler County residents. Clara’s brother, Edgar Leon Jones and family lived in Miami Beach and she had an uncle and other relatives living in Miami.
Though not in the 1920 census of Flagler County, the family was residents here prior to 1920 and after 1920. He and Clara were divorced in Broward CO, FL in 1943 and he returned to Bunnell around 1945.
Willie did not remarry, however, Clara married sometime before 1948, William B. Moyer.
Willie and Clara were the parents of two children;

Margaret Edna Booe, born 19 Apr 1918, Haw Creek, Flagler CO, FL, died 27 Apr 2008, Port Orange, Volusia CO, FL, buried Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach, Volusia CO, FL, married 02 Apr 1939, First Union Church, Ormond Beach, Volusia CO, FL Claude Sisco Deen, son of James Emmett Deen and Ethel Sisco, born 12 July 1914, Bulow, St Johns now Flagler CO, FL, died 20 July 1969, Orlando, Orange CO, FL, buried Hope, now Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, Flagler CO, FL.
They had three children, Claude Sisco Deen, Jr. (the compiler), Claudia Jo Deen and Joy Monroe Deen. (See the sketch on James Emmett Deen for additional information on this family)
