He is listed on page 26 of the 1920 census of Flagler County, residing with his brother John Albert Burrell in the Haw Creek area, with his occupation given as "Farmer-General."
On Saturday afternoon, 29 Jul 1922, in the director's room of the Bunnell State Bank two meetings took place that added something to the history of Flagler county and marked the retirement of Major James Frank Lambert and the Witham System of banks from the active field and saw the ushering in of a new regime, headed by Col Claude Grady Varn as president, Walter Cody, vice-president and an entire new board of directors consisting of Frank R Burrell, Harry Wallace Sessions, Wade Hampton McKenzie, George Moody and Robert Lee Harper.
In 1934 the family moved to Hastings, Fla where they continued to farm. Issue;
