Frank Sullivan Crowson

Frank Sullivan Crowson, son of William Elbert Crowson and Amanda Ellis, born 16 Aug 1874 MS, died 1931, Alachua CO, FL, married Florence Chorlton, born 03 Oct 1878, England, died 16 Jun 1975, Miami, Dade CO, FL. Florence came to the United States in 1891 and was naturalized in 1900.

In 1900, Frank was living with his brother John C Crowson in Old Elam, Montgomery CO, AL. He gave his occupation as house carpenter.

He and Florence owned a farm and built a house on the Deen Road west of Bunnell (later called Crowson's Corner and the house was later occupied by C. B. Miller).

He was a farmer and operated a dairy. Several references to his diversified farming are found in the Bunnell Home Builder from 1913 to 1917. His step-daughter, Florence Francois was the census enumerator for Precinct Four for the 1920 census.

In the 1930 census, Florence and her two daughters, Florence Francois and Vera May Crowson are living in Miami, Dade CO, FL. Florence is listed as married, and the head of the household; dau Florence is unemployed and Vera May is a stenographer for an insurance company.
