William David Davis

William David Davis, born 1879 NY and his wife, Emma M Brown, dau of John Brown and Emma LNU, was born Oct 1884 MI.

In 1900 he was residing in his fathers-in-law’s household in Auburn Ward 3, Cayuga, New York with his occupation given as house painter. The family is listed on page 60 of the 1910 census, residing in the Haw Creek precinct (later St. Johns Park) with his occupation given as a painter. In the 1920 and 1930-census the family was living in Broadview, Cook CO IL with occupation given as painter.

Since their second child was born in FL about 1914 and their third child was born in IL in 1916, it would appear that they left FL between 1914 and 1916 and settled in IL. Issue;

1. Ethel L. Davis, born about 1901, NY

2. Dorothy Davis, born about 1914, FL

3. Jessie Davis, born about 1916, IL

4. Robert Davis, born about 1922, IL

5. May Belle Davis, born about 1924, IL
