Isaiah Hansell Frier, son of Aaron Frier and Narcissus Smith, born 31 Dec 1870, Lakeland, Lanier CO, died 08 Jul 1941, Bunnell, Flagler CO, FL, married July 1904, Daytona, Volusia CO, FL, Laura Lorene Pellicer, dau of Paul Franklin Pellicer and Rebecca Youngblood, born 02 Oct 1883, McDonald, Coffee CO, GA, died 09 May 1966, Bunnell General Hospital, Bunnell, Flagler CO, FL, Both buried Espanola Cemetery, Espanola, Flagler CO, FL.

In the 1920 census of Flagler County the family is listed on page 41 with his occupation given as "Farmer-General." They resided in St. Johns Park and he farmed before moving to Bunnell and he worked for the County and she operated a boarding house. They were the parents of three children:

Roy Mahue Frier married 2nd, Allendale, Allendale CO, SC, Ernestine DeLoach. Issue;

(1) Roy Mahue Frier II - has two children

(2) Catherine Frier, born about 1943 - has three children

(3) Dessie Frier

2. Wilda Lucille Flier, born 08 Oct 1907, Starke, Bradford CO, FL, died 05 Nov 1984, Hazlehurst, Jeff Davis CO, FL, married 15 May 1937, DeLand, Volusia CO, FL, Elza Lamar (Earl) Hatton, born 09 Nov 1907, GA, died 30 Nov 1983, Hazlehurst, Jeff Davis CO, GA.

She was a beauty operator in Bunnell before moving to Hazlehurst, Georgia and was a director with the Federal Housing Authority for that area.

3. Paul Hubert (Hub) Frier, born 16 Jun 1910, Starke, Bradford CO, FL, died 16 Aug 1993, Bunnell, Flagler CO, FL, buried Espanola Cemetery, Espanola, Flagler CO, FL, married 05 Feb 1938, Green Cove Springs, Clay CO, FL, Vivian Fern Gatlin, dau of Aaron Benjamin Gatlin and Dola Arbadena Silcox, born 30 Nov 1916, Tocoi, Clay CO, FL, died 26 Nov 1996, Daytona Beach, Volusia CO, FL (Div-1944)

In Feb 1938 he was a representative of the United Life Insurance Company in Bunnell. When he and Fern were married, they were living in the Sisco apartments on Old Dixie Highway.

Pvt. Frier was wounded while serving in WW II in France. Following WW II he worked at John Rice's Hardware and then for Dunn Brothers' Hardware when they bought out Mr. Rice.

On August 16, 1993, he was brutally murdered at his home by a young black male and a young white female who stole his car and were apprehended in Tifton, GA the next day.

Vivian Fern Gatlin was also married to FNU Carnes and Preston Nicely
