Betty Bowen resided in Bunnell with her uncle and aunt, Edmund L (Ed) Miller and his wife Mary Ann Treadwell and was known as Betty Miller. She was the daughter of Mr Miller's sister Anna Bowen. The Miller family moved to Bunnell after the 1920 census from McKeesport, Penn.

Graham W. Lee was not enumerated in the 1920 census of Flagler County but resided there in 1920 as he was appointed principal of Bunnell School on 5 June 1920 for the school term 1920-21 and in April 1921 was appointed principal for the 1921-22 term.

He was the cashier at the Bunnell State Bank and moved to Hastings, Florida about December 1923 to assume that same position in the Bank of Hastings which had been purchased by Major James Frank Lambert. He was employed by the Bank until he assumed the position as the manager of the Hastings Potato Growers Association. In this capacity he worked with farmers in the Tri-County area of St. Johns, Putnam and Flagler Counties, consequently becoming an influential factor in the produce industry.
