John J. Mazurewicz

John J. Mazurewicz, born 21 Nov 1879 in Poland and his wife Clara T. born about 1883 in IL are found on page 23 of the 1920 census of Flagler County. His occupation was given as a "truck Fanner" and the year he immigrated to the United States as 1899 and was naturalized in 1904.

From articles in the Bunnell Home Builder and the Flagler Tribune, this family came to Korona with the original group of 35 in 1914. Issue;

1. Edmund J. Mazurewicz, born about 1903, Cook CO, IL and came with his parents to St. Johns CO, FL in 1914. He is listed as a school teacher in the 1920 census and a poem he composed and read on commencement day at the Korona School was printed in the Flagler Tribune on 27 April 1922.

2. John W. Mazurewicz, born about 1909, Cook CO, IL and came with his parents in 1914 to St. Johns now Flagler CO, FL

3. Clara Mazurewicz, born about 1914 in St. Johns now Flagler CO, FL
