Phoda Phinigan Pellicer, son of Paul Franklin Pellicer and Rebecca Youngblood, born 17 Jul 1894, McDonald, Coffee CO, GADonough, Henry CO, GA, died 24 Dec 1976, Bunnell General Hospital, Bunnell, Flagler CO, FL, married 08 Aug 1917, Flagler CO, FL by Judge Barlett (their’s was the second marriage in the new county) to Mary Ethel Pittman, dau of Condary E Pittman and Mary E Thomas, born 03 Jun 1898, Appling CO, GA, died 24 Mar 1976, Bunnell General Hospital, Bunnell, Flagler CO, FL. Both buried Eden Cemetery, Crescent City, Putnam CO, FL.
He came to the Haw Creek area (later called St Johns Park) in 1903 with his parents at the age of nine. The family is listed on page 40 of the 1920 census of Flagler County with his occupation given as "Farmer - General" and residing in the St. Johns Park area. His farm was adjacent to his father's place.

2. Herman Phoda Pellicer, born 1918, St Johns Park, Flagler CO, FL, died 10 Jan 1940 in a truck accident near National Gardens, Volusia CO, FL.
Mr. Pellicer was employed by the Wolfe Construction Company, of St. Augustine, on a road paving job between Korona and Ormond. He was transporting material from National Gardens to the Daytona-DeLand road project when the accident occurred.
It is supposed that the truck went out of control on a sharp curve on a narrow paved road between National Gardens and State Highway 4. He apparently was thrown from the truck against a tree the distance of about twelve feet. He is buried in Eden Cemetery, Crescent City, Putnam CO, FL

Ernest Walton (Walt) Pellicer, born 30 May 1925, St Johns Park, Flagler CO, FL, died 26 Feb 2002, Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka, Putnam CO, FL, buried Eden Cemetery, Crescent City, Putnam CO, FL, married 23 Aug1947, Palatka, Putnam CO, FL, Pauline Elizabeth Ridaught, dau of Lawrence Lincoln Ridaught and Lelia Mae Root, born 16 Dec 1926, Ft McCoy, Marion CO, FL.He moved to Palatka and in 1941 became a deputy sheriff for Sheriff William J Revels. When Sheriff Revels died in office in Jul 1954, Walt won the democratic nomination on 07 Sep 1954 and went on to win the general election for Sheriff of Putnam County.
After serving in various offices in the National Sheriff's Association, he was elected President of the National Sheriff's Association.
Other offices he has held over the years include Florida Sheriff's Association President and Chairman, Board of Directors; member regional planning council; Governor's Commission on Criminal Justice Standards and Goals; member of Board of Directors of Putnam County Alcohol and Drug Council, member of Board of Directors Rodeheaver Boys Ranch and Chairman, Putnam County Unit of the Salvation Army.
He served as President of the St Johns Park Pioneers in 1995 and 1996 and I (Claude Sisco Deen, Jr) served as Vice President. We boiled up some really good "sweet" corn for the folks at Flagler CO Fairs - - actually it was just regular corn with our secret ingredient added - - 5 or so pounds of sugar.
He and his wife owned and operated the very popular "Walt's Bar-B-Q" in Palatka. In addition to land holdings in Putnam County, they owned the land in Flagler County where Paul Franklin Pellicer first settled. Issue;
