Both buried Pellicer Creek Cemetery, St Johns CO, FL.In the 1900 census of Precinct 8, St Johns CO, FL, Susan is shown widowed head of household with the last name of Quigley. Living with her were Ella, John and Rusha.
In the 1910 census of Precinct 8, Matanzas, St Johns CO, FL, John O Quigley is shown as the head of this family. His occupation is listed as “farmer, general farm.” The record indicates that he had been married twice with the current marriage being in its 12th year (c1898). If John and Susan were married in 1898, then she should have not been listed as a widow on the 1900 census.
It is evident that we have some errors in the aforementioned census. Perhaps Susan was previously married to another Quigley before she married John and the first three children are from that marriage.

A. Henry Leroy Quigley, born 01 Feb 1948, St Johns CO, FL, killed in action on 26 Feb 1969 while serving with the U.S. Army as a Specialist Fourth Class in the Republic of Vietnam. His death was caused by a hand grenade thrown into the vehicle in which he was traveling. He was buried at Pellicer Creek Cemetery, St Johns CO, FL on 08 Mar 1969.
