Hugh Tanner Cobb

From the public relations officer at Roosevelt Field, Long Island, N.Y., HUGH COBB has graduated from the airplane mechanics school here. He was recently promoted to Cpl. Earlier he attended the Academy of Aeronautics at La Guardia Field and the Casey Jones School of Aeronautics at Newark, N.J.

November 11, 1943

Cpl. HUGH COBB, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Cobb of Bimini, is stationed at Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho, and wrote a letter to Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Mosby here, who are originally from Boise, although they have lived here for 30 years. Cpl. Cobb and one of the Mosby boys were classmates in school here.

January 13, 1944

Cpl. HUGH T. COBB of Gowan Field, Boise, Idaho, arrived here during the weekend for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Cobb. This is the first time he has been home in over a year and upon his arrival found his father very ill with influenza complications.

October 11, 1945
