Pvt. HIRAM DURRANCE has been transferred from Camp Hood, Texas, to Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
February 17, 1944
Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Durrance received word from their son, Pfc. CARL H. DURRANCE, that he is being released from the hospital and returning home to recover from a long illness. He has been stationed for the past three months at Ft, Sill, Oklahoma.
While traveling home he expects to visit with his brother and sister-in-law, Private and Mrs. Julian Forrest Durrance at Augusta, Georgia.
March 9, 1944
HIRAM DURRANCE arrived home a few days ago with a medical discharge from Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
