Any of you guys remember LONNIE JENKINS who used to be here with Hooper Const. Co.? Well, he in down in the S. Pacific and writes pretty regularly to Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Rich here. He recently sent some pictures to them and says he's OK.

From the "Central Pacific" a letter from Navy Seabee LONNIE JENKINS. He writes:

"Perhaps you do not remember me, but I wish to express to you my thanks for The Tribune.

I worked around that part of the country for Hooper Construction Co. for quite some time. In doing so, I worked with most of the fellows whose homes are there.

You just can't imagine the enjoyment I receive from reading about them. Shelton Barber, Bill Durrance and I have been on the same islands but, of course, never knew it. I found out from reading The Tribune. Shelton and I must have hit the last island he was on about the same time.

I notice Zeno Mercer is doing OK in England. Would surely like to see all the old gang again.

Hope that Hub Frier is all OK again by now."

(Yes, we do remember you and will be glad to see you again.)
