Cpl. HELEN KOZAK, of Korona, and with the WAC is now stationed in New Mexico, it was learned today. She has three brothers in service - Stanley, with the Seabees in Alaska; Sgt. Casimir Kozak with the army and now several months in the Pacific; and her youngest brother, Pvt. Johnny Kozak, left here recently for Camp Blanding where he is at the reception center.

Cpl. HELEN KOZAK, of the WAC is spending a furlough visiting relatives in Korona and visiting schoolmates here.

On the other hand, we are indebted to public relations of the Army Air Base at Alamogordo, New Mexico, for a story concerning another Flagler county girl who is in the WAC---Sgt. HELEN KOZAK. A part of the story relates:

The average G. I. will vent his sorrow or joy on the person actually dispensing mail to him, mailing to realize that most of the real responsibility rests with those working quietly and efficiently behind the scenes, someone he never sees and can never thank. Such a person is Sgt. Helen Kozak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kozak of Korona.

Working in the base post office here, Helen said "I know how I feel when I get a letter from home or one of my brothers, and I'm glad to do my bit to help others feel the same way."

Sgt. Kozak is a graduate of Bunnell high and said that "After my three brothers enlisted in the armed forces, I decided to join too." Right now Sgt. Casimir Kozak is in Australia, Seaman First Class Stanley Kozak is in Alaska, and Pvt. John Kozak is "somewhere in France."

Helen has been in the WAC since February 22, 1943.
