Here's an item about a signal corps Sgt. whom some of you fellows probably remember - G. C. LAYTON. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Layton lived in Bunnell when he was a kid. They then moved to Hilliard, Fla. where he went into service in 1939. Subsequently his parents moved back to Bunnell. G. C. is home on the first furlough he has had since entering the army. You see, he has been stationed at various places in the Caribbean. Sgt. Layton reports to Orlando when his furlough is up.
