Pfc. CARROLL LEGGETT, of Flagler Beach, and who is receiving his combat engineer training in Wisconsin, arrived here this week on a furlough with his family at the Beach.

October 12, 1944

Pfc. CAROL LEGGETT, combat engineer from Flagler Beach, has arrived in England.

October 19, 1944

Pfc. CARROLL LEGGETT, combat engineer, has arrived in France, according to a letter received by his wife who lives at Flagler Beach.

March 22, 1945

Pfc. CARROLL LEGGETT from Flagler Beach writes his wife, daughter of Mrs. John Durrance, that he is in a hospital with "a busted leg, but nothing to worry about." Carroll is an army engineer and has been in Germany.

June 28, 1945

CARROLL LEGGETT is here spending a furlough with his family. He is a veteran of campaigns in Belgium, Holland and Germany, and had his leg broken while serving in the ETO.

July 19, 1945

CARROLL LEGGETT left Tuesday to spend part of his furlough with relatives in Alma, Ga. He will report back to New Orleans in a few days.

September 27, 1945

Pfc. CAROL LEGGETT of Flagler Beach is here on furlough from an army hospital in New Orleans where he has been since arriving from the ETO.

December 27, 1945

We extend our thanks to, the following for their nice Christmas greetings: Roland Wilson, USS Wasp at Naples, Italy; Ralph Novak, USS Caratret, in the Pacific; Lee Drazba, with a USA unit in the Philippines; Wilfred Hunter, USS Furse, in the Atlantic. Also a card from Dell Bradbury in California who did not state whether he is yet in the army or not, but who did say "I am coming to Florida soon."
