Three fellows from here were accepted at Blanding last week: Bion Matherly, J. E. Maddox and EVERETT McCRANEY (who served a hitch in the navy several years back). Eddie Schultz was called but was turned down for physical reason.

July 19, 1945

EVERETT McCRANEY of the U. S. Navy is spending what he has left of a 30.day furlough here with his parents, after serving in the southwest Pacific. He has spent part of his furlough at Lakeland.

September 27, 1945

Another Flagler county fighting man is discharged. He is EVERETT McCRANEY, who has spent many months in the Pacific with the U. S. Navy forces.

October 11, 1945
