Thursday, May 2, 1929 - - Mrs. J. Frank Ganas, of Crescent City, and a sister of Mr. George Allen here, was killed almost instantly at Crescent City this afternoon when a car in which she was driving alone skidded at the north end of Lake Stella, inside the city limits, and overturned. The accident, it is thought, was caused by wet pavement, having occurred during the storm period in this section.

Mrs. Ganas was active in club work in Crescent City and throughout the state, as well as in the work of the Order of the Eastern Star. At the time .of the fatal accident, she was decorating the school auditorium for a performance to be given tonight.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Ganas is survived by a daughter, Alan and a son, J. Frank Ganas, Jr., all of whom live in Crescent City; Mrs. .C. E. Curry, of Palatka and. George Allen of this city.

Funeral arrangements had not been announced today.
