Dick Bruce Atkinson, about 22 years of age, was killed instanly by a tractor about 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning while trying to pull his truck out of a bog.

Mr. Atkinson was driver for the retail milk delivery truck of Foremost Company of Daytona Beach; his truck became stuck while at the Holland farm known as the Reece Place in the St. Johns Park Section. He borrowed a tractor to pull the truck out of the bog, and apparently he had the chain hooked too high on the tractor frame, causing, it to overturn and crush him instantly, an investigating officer said.

He was carried to the local hospital and pronounced dead upon arrival. Baggett-Wetherby of Daytona Beach is in charge of funeral arrangements
