George Bandorf, 77-year-old pioneer citizen of Flagler County, died in Glendale hospital in Palatka Monday following a brief illness.

Mr. Bandorf was born in Germany but came to the United States in 1894.  He has been a resident of the St. Johns Park area of Flagler County since 1909 where for many years he was engaged in farming.

Graveside service will be held this afternoon at 4 o’clock in St Monica’s Catholic Church cemetery with the Rev. Fr. M. J. Kelly officiating.  Carl Davis and Son Funeral Home of Palatka is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers are F. L. Malphurs, Rudye Shamblen, Hoke Cob, P.P. Pellicer, John Buckles and O. D. Robertson.

Surviving are a son, John G. Bandorf, St. Johns Park, and a daughter, Mrs. J. P. Jones of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
