Jeptha (Jep) Barber, 93, 111 North Anderson Street, Bunnell, a pioneer resident of Flagler County, died Sunday morning at Bunnell General Hospital

Born in Appling County, Ga. he moved to Flagler County 60 years ago from Georgia. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bunnell.

He is survived by his widow, Minnie; three daughters, Mrs. J. H. McKnight, Jr., Flagler Beach; Mrs. Claude Varn, St. Augustine; and Mrs. C. A. Byrd. Seville; a son, John E. Barber, Ocala; a sister, Mrs. Jane Lovett, Savannah, Ga.; three brothers, G. M., Bunnell; Warren and Spencer, both of Mayo; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday morning at 11:00 in Bunnell First United Methodist with the Rev. Earle Wilder, pastor, officiating. Interment was at Espanola Cemetery.

Pallbearers were W. W. Deen, R. W. Deen, Clyde Lewis, Phil Johnson, Lewis Wadsworth and Hubert Frier.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell was in charge.
