F. D. Barmington, age 83, died this morning at his home here where he had been confined for several months from a chronic illness, and his death did not come as a shock to those familiar with his physical condition.

Mr. Barmington was born November 16, 1844, in Illinois, and came to this county in 1909 from Paris, Tennessee. To those acquaintances he had made during his long residence here, he was held as a Christian and lovable character.

The deceased leaves a wife, Mrs. Mary E. Barmington; one son, J. F. Barmington of Hugo, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. R. B. Lazonbry of Nampa, Idaho; Mrs. J. B. Teachnor of Kansas City, Mo., and daughterin-law, Mrs. B. B. Barmington of Randolph, Nebr., and four grandchildren.

He was a member of the Masonic order; and the oldest member in the local lodge; member of the Order of Eastern Star; and a veteran of the Civil War.

Funeral services will be held at the home at ten o'clock tomorrow morning, conducted by Rev. C. C. Long, and Masonic services at the grave.
