Mrs. Sally Atkinson, 69, mother of W. H. Atkinson, Jr., of Bunnell, died at five o'clock Sunday morning in a Brunswick, Georgia, hospital following a heart attack a few hours before.

Mrs. Atkinson was a resident of Brunswick and had visited here with the Atkinson family on many occasions and had planned to spend the Holidays here this year.

Funeral services were held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church of Brunswick at two-thirty Tuesday afternoon, and burial followed at Brunswick.

Survivors include five sons, W. H. Atkinson, Jr., Bunnell; Richard B. Atkinson, Charleston, S. C.; John R. Atkinson, Jacksonville; Nathan Atkinson, San Francisco; Alex Atkinson, Brunswick; three daughters, Mrs. W. J. Dirkees, Fall Church, Va.; Mary B. Atkinson, Washington, D. C.; and Sally Clare, San Francisco.

Also surviving are a sister and brother, Mrs. E. P. Schulken of Wilmington, N. C., and H. M. Bass of New York City. Twelve grandchildren also survive.
