Mrs. R. S. Brunson of Bunnell died early Wednesday morning in a St. Augustine hospital were she underwent a major operation on Monday morning.

Mrs. Brunson was a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina and had lived in Bunnell for about twelve years, moving here from St. Augustine. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Bunnell.

She was the wife of R. S. Brunson, who is Florida East Coast Railway agent here.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday afternoon from the local Baptist church, with Rev. R. P. Tomlinson, pastor of the church, officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from twelve o'clock' until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Survivors are the widower, J. S. Brunson of Bunnell; one son W. D. Brunson of West Palm Beach; one daughter, Mrs. W. J. Jones of Jacksonville; one sister, Mrs. A. M. Boyd of Four Oaks, N. C. and two broth­ers, Emmett and. Henry Beard, of Beard, N. C. There also survive two granddaughters.
