Died Saturday night 9:30 o'clock; Mrs. Emma Belden Bachelder, wife of B. B. Bachelder, the cause of death being apoplexy. .

Mrs. Bachelder was found late Saturday afternoon on her porch lying on the floor in a helpless condition by two small newsboys; neighbors and physicians were immediately summoned, but the good woman was beyond human aid. Shortly after being found she lapsed into unconsciousness and this was followed by tetanus; the end coming shortly after 9:30 the evening of Saturday, March 4.

No woman in Bunnell was held in higher esteem than Mrs. Bachelder. She was an honored member of the Bunnell Chapter of the Eastern Star and a willing worker in all organizations of good works. She was faithful to every trust; a loving wife, a. model neighbor - a citizen whom everyone honored and respected.

Mrs. Bachelder was in her 49th year, and had always appeared to be in sound health. For several years past she hall been one of Flagler county's most dependable public school teachers and was well liked by her patrons. At the time of her death she had charge of the school at Espanola, one of the largest outside of Bunnell in Flagler county, and she was held in high esteem by her scholars and by the superintendent and school board of the county.

Her body was embalmed and on Sunday afternoon practically all Bunnell accompanied her remains, immediately fo1lowed by the Eastern Star, to the train where it was shipped to her old home in Kingman, Maine, for burial. .

The Eastern Star services at the home were most beautiful and impressive, following prayer by Rev. H. E. Partridge of the Methodist church, and at the conclusion tenderly and reverently the casket was borne to the station to enter upon that last journey to its long rest.
