Mr. J. N. Bennett Monday received the sad intelligence of the death of his wife at Tipton, Md., and left on the early morning train Tuesday for that place. The funeral of Mrs. Bennett will be held Thursday - - today.

Mrs. Bennett spent last winter in Bunnell, but was unable to accompany her husband south last fall. Mr. Bennett will return here shortly.
