Mrs. Leotah H. Benson Hamilton, 34, and wife of Bert Hamilton of the St. Johns Park section of Flagler county, died Christmas day at the family home, following a sudden illness which developed Saturday.

Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her husband and two children, one sister and two brothers, one of whom is a resident of Flagler Beach and the other of Groveland.

Funeral services of the Christian Science Church were conducted at the Hamilton home by Mrs. Hamilton's brothers, interment being made in the Crescent City cemetery beside the graves of her mother and father.

IN MEMORIAM

Mrs. Leotah Hamilton was born March 10, 1898. She was the fourth born of Judge and Mrs. George Benson, deceased,

At the age of 18 she completed a business course and soon became assistant editor of the Chicago Brick and Clay Record of Chicago.

In 1925 she came to Flagler county with her parents and family, A few months later she became secretary of the Daytona Beach Builders and Contractors Association. Soon after Mrs. Hamilton's mother passed away, December 10, 1926. She became the wife of Bert Hamilton, and there was born to them two beautiful little girls, Leotah Margaret, age 3 years, and Kathryn Faith, age 1 year, to date of her mothers passing.

Mrs. Hamilton was taken very ill Saturday morning, and passed away quietly Sunday afternoon, Christmas Day, at 6 o'clock.

Christian services were held for her at the home of Mr. Hamilton's parents, at one o'clock Tuesday. Mrs. Hamilton was buried in Crescent City where both her mother and father lie at rest, Tuesday, December 27, at 3 o'clock.

She leaves besides her husband and children three brothers, G. Royal, J. Harry J and Hazen M. Benson; also one sister, Mrs. Gordon Marsh of DeLand, and a host of friends to mourn her loss to the community.
