Mrs. Della Hoffman, 53, wife of Dr. Edmond G. Hoffman of Melrose, and sister of Mrs. T. E. Holden of Bunnell, died in a Miami hospital Saturday night following a short illness.

She had spent a week here with Mrs. Holden before going to Miami last Thursday to receive medical treatment. She was visiting with friends there at the time of her death. Mrs. Holden was at her bedside at the time of her death.

Mrs. Hoffman was a native of Ariel, Pa., but called Scranton, Pa. her home.

Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Virginia Lenzer of Scranton.

The body was forwarded from Miami to Palatka where W. Carl Davis and Son were in charge of arrangements for forwarding it to Scranton where funeral services were held Wednesday morning.

Mr. Hoffman and Mrs. Holden accompanied the body from Palatka to Scranton Monday night.
