George W. Bradfield, 63, who operated a large marina at Orange Park for 18 years before moving to the Flagler Beach area in 1972, died at 1:30 Tuesday morning at Bunnell General Hospital.

Bradfield was a 30-year Navy veteran, retiring with the rank of Chief Storekeeper. He served with the Pacific Fleet. His birthplace was Zanesville, Ohio.

He made his home in the Hammock area.

Survivors include his widow, Phoebe (better known as "Toby"); his mother, Mrs. H. B. Bradfield of Zanesville, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. T. A. Wadsworth, Jacksonville.

Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell is in charge of arrangements. Rev. Karl Konigsberger of St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church at Palm Coast will officiate at the service, which will be at 2 p.m. today at Craig Chapel.
