		  Mrs. Virginia B. High, 83, a  former long-time resident of Bunnell, passed away Monday, 
		    Sept. 16, 1974, at the  Collingswood Nursing Home, Rockville,   Md. of a stroke.
		  Mrs. High had been in ill  health for the past two years during which time she was in the nursing home.
		  She was a Flagler County  resident for 45 years having moved to Flagler  Beach from Miami in 1925.
		  Mrs. High was a member of the  First United Methodist Church of Bunnell, was postmistress of Bunnell from May  1954 to September 1955.
		  Mrs. High, the daughter of the  late Dr. Henry C. Brannon, was born in Wheeling,  W. Va., Oct. 22, 1892, and came to Florida  with her family at the turn of the century. 
		  In 1905, she lived in  Seabreeze, and a few years later moved to Palatka where she was a high school  classmate of the late Tom Holden.
		  In 1912, she became a Western  Union telegraph operator and was assigned to various cities in Florida including DeLand  and Tarpon Springs.
		  Her husband, Joseph B. High,  Sr. passed away in June 1945, and survivors include her son, J .B. High of  Alexandria, Va., and a niece, Mrs. Ray G. Wood, of Brunswick, Ga.
		  Funeral Services were Monday  in Vienna, Va.  and graveside services will be tomorrow at the Arco  Cemetery, Brunswick, Ga.
		  The family suggests any  memorials be to the Bunnell Methodist Building Fund.
