Mrs. Elizabeth Biddle, long-time resident of Flagler County, passed away Thursday night, April 20, in a Daytona Beach Rest Home after a long illness.

Mrs. Biddle was born in Scotland and had resided in McKeesport, Pa., for many years before coming to Bunnell in 1919. She was a member of the First Methodist. Church of Bunnell, the Bunnell Chapter No. 93, Order of Eastern Star and the Royal Neighbors of America. She was 80 years of age.

Funeral service was held from the Bunnell Methodist Church at, 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon with the pastor, Rev. W. L. Spicer, Jr., officiating. Interment followed at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Daytona Beach with Dr. Franklin Carwithen, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Daytona Beach, assisting. Members of the Bunnell Order of Easter Star Chapter attended the service in an honorary capacity.

Pallbearers were T. E. Holden, Henry Wells, Dewey Moody, Duane Deen, E. S. Morris, and Dale Brown, Jr.

Mrs. Biddle is survived by husband, George L. Biddle of Bunnell; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Upson of Holly Hill; a son, Clare Biddle of Ormond Beach. Three grandsons also survive.

Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell was in charge of arrangements.
