Funeral services were held at Espanola Cemetery on March 29 for Mrs. Mable Malphurs, a former resident of Flagler County.

Mrs. Malphurs, who was the widow of the late J. W. Malphurs of Flagler County, died on March 27 in the Fish Memorial Hospital in DeLand after a short illness there. She was a semi-invalid and had made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Raulerson in Pierson for the past eight years.

She was a member of the Bunnell Methodist Church. She was 69 years of age.

Funeral services were held in Pierson and burial in the Espanola Cemetery here.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Raulerson of Pierson Mrs. Jessie McAlexander, Jacksonville, Mrs. William Ruth and Mrs. Shirley Robinson, Seville; one son, Riley Malphurs, Bunnell; six brothers - - John and Raymond Buckles, Bunnell; Clyde Buckles, Belle Glade; Luke Buckles, Ft. Lauderdale; Arthur Buckles, Daytona Beach; and Clarence Buckles, San Mateo. Eighteen grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.
