Walter W. Burroughs, who resided near Dinty Moore's place north of Flagler Beach, was killed last Saturday night when the cut down auto he was driving hit the railing on a small bridge just north of Korona on U. S. Highway One.

Burroughs had been to Daytona Beach; it was reported by investigating officers and was coming toward Bunnell when the accident occurred.

He had been a resident of this county only a short time, and was employed by Philip Johnson in construction work.

The body was placed in charge of an undertaking firm in Daytona Beach and will be returned to Arlington, Va. where his mother, Mrs. Mary Linda Burroughs resides.
