Nicholas E. Chapman, 69, of The Hammock died Sunday, Nov. 19, at Bunnell General Hospital after an extended illness.

Mr. Chapman was born in Jeffersonville, Ind., and moved to Flagler County four years ago from Hialeah.  He was a retired Dade County Board of Education employee.

Survivors are his widow, Mildred, The Hammock; three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services and burial were held in Jeffersonville. Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in local charge.
