William H. Chimpky of 509 South Central Avenue, Flagler Beach passed away at his home Monday night October 31 after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Chimpky was, born in Girard, Kansas and moved to Flagler Beach 22 years ago from Alatha, Kansas. He was 62 years of age.

Mr. Chimpky served in World War II in the U. S. Navy. He was a Past Commander of the American Legion Post 115, and was a member of the, Flagler Beach Methodist Church. He had worked at the Lehigh Portland Cement Plant until it closed and was presently employed as Maintenance Supervisor of the Housing Authority of Flagler County.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lottie Jean Chimpky of Flagler Beach.

Funeral services were held from the Flagler Beach Metho­dist Church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The pastor, Rev. Raynold Hoover officiated. Interment will be at a later date in Girard, Kansas.
