Luther W. Clark, a retired railroad conductor, died early Tuesday morning at the Flagler Clinic and Hospital. He was 90 years of age.

Mr. Clark was born at Chicaguma, Georgia and had lived in Birmingham, Alabama for many years where he was employed by with the Southern Railroad for 55 years. He was a passenger conductor for 35 years. Following his retirement he moved to Daytona Beach in 1937 and resided at 37 South Wild Olive about fifteen years. He came to Bunnell about five years ago to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Ethel Lord, and grandson, Bert Powell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell with Rev. E. W. Ware officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Daytona Beach.

Survivors are his daughter, Mrs. Ethel Lord, Bunnell; one sister, Mrs. Mary Alice Oliver, Chattanooga, Tenn; five grandchildren, A. B. (Bert) Powell, Bunnell; Clark Coleman, Jacksonville; Commander George Coleman, with the U. S. Navy in Puerto Rico; Herbert Clark, Downey, California; and Mrs. Tom Carter, San Marion, California. Also surviving are 13 great grand children.

Pallbearers are Owen Shelton, J. W. Medders, George W. Moody, Jr., Harold Emery, Levi Brannam and R. J. Thompson.

Haigh and Black Funeral Home of Daytona Beach are in charge of arrangements.
