Sylvester Loran Clifton of Bunnell died at the Flagler Clinic and Hospital early Friday morning following a brief illness. He was a former resident of Holly Hill but had resided in Flagler county for the past several years. .

Mr. Clifton, who was 67 years old, operated a Grocery Store and Market at Flagler Beach when he came from Holly Hill. He had been in failing health for sometime.

Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church' at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon with Dr. E. W. Ware officiating. Interment was in Hope Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eunice Clifton; four sons, Julian and Joseph Clifton of Bunnell; Loran Clifton, Holly Hill; and Rev. Vernon Clifton, Pierson, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. Agnes Yelvington, Flagler Beach; one brother, Sylvia W. Clifton of Holly Hill; and three sisters; Mrs. Martha Griggs, Oklawaha; Mrs. Deborah English, and Mrs. Mary Martin, Holly Hill. Also surviving are seven grandchildren.
