Elbert E. Collings, father of Mrs. E. W. Wilson of Artesia Park, died at 1:40 Sunday afternoon in Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, following an illness of about 10 days.

Mr. Collings, who was 79 years of age, was a native of Parke County, Indiana, where he engaged in the farming industry for many years.

Due to his failing health, he and Mrs. Collings have made their home in Flagler County with Mr. and Mrs. Wilson for the past two and a half years.

Mr. Collings is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Collings; three sons, Archie Collings of Danville, Ind.; Clyde Collings and Kenneth Collings of Anderson, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Isherwood of Salisbury, N. C. and Mrs. E. W. Wilson of Artesia Park; one brother, Jesse G. Collings, Terre Haute, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Lennox, Indianapolis, Ind. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Rockville, Indiana, Wednesday, with interment following in the family cemetery there.
