Edward A. Copeland, 60, 305 North Church Street, Bunnell, died Saturday, July 5 at Bunnell General Hospital.

He was born in St. Petersburg, Fla. and moved to Bunnell 31 years ago from Jacksonville. He was a retired Marine engineer.

He is survived by his wife, Letty, Bunnell; a sister, Mrs. Alice Alexander, Indianapolis, Ind.; three brothers, Joseph Copeland, Jacksonville; J. L. Copeland, Houston, Texas; and Al Copeland, Indianapolis, Ind.

Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Bunnell First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Oliver Taylor, Eau Gallie, assisted by Rev. Earle Wilder, pastor, officiated. Interment was at Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Tommy Bertha, Sammy Bertha, Johnny Metts, Dewayne Metts, Bill Baker and Albert Johnston. Honorary pallbearers were Gene Bowers, Lee Blakely, T. E. Lovelace, T. K. McKnight, Roscoe Lynn, Earl Rice, L. W. McMillan, Dale Brown, M. B. McDaniel, P. A. Edmonson, Odell Hersey and Coy Harris.
