Robert Jackson Cox, 45, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., was dead on arrival at the Flagler Clinic and Hospital at 7:35 Wednesday morning, following an accident on U. S. Highway 1 north of the Bunnell city limits.

Mr. Cox, a pedestrian, was walking north along the pavement on the northbound traffic lane when he was struck by a car traveling north and driven by Mrs. Delvina Leon Rouzie of Fort Lauderdale. A second car traveling north was passing Mrs. Rouzie at the same time, and Cox stepped into the line of traffic.

A coroner's inquest was held and after investigation which found no negligence on the part of the driver. She was released.

Riding with Mrs. Rouzie were her mother and two children.

Craig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and are preparing the body for shipment to Oak Ridge for burial.
