Mrs. Mary Martin, 46, wife of James M. Martin of Black Point, died in a Palatka hospital at six o’clock Sunday afternoon, June 15, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Martin was a native of Kentucky but had resided in Flagler County for four and a half years. She had been in poor health for some time, but was confined to her bed only a short time before becoming moved to the hospital last Friday morning.

She is survived by her husband and four children: Margaret Martin and Imogene Martin of Black Point; Mrs. Pauline Hardesty of San Diego, California; and Hubert Martin of Kentucky. Also one grandchild. Also surviving are four sisters, Pearl Cramner, Melinda Cramner, Lizzie Fox and Carrie Bush all of Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at the Adventist Church of Bunnell at two o’clock Wednesday afternoon with Elder O. C. Mosby of Black Point conducting the services. Burial followed in the Espanola Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Car Davis Funeral Home of Palatka.
