Lillie Mae Cribbs, seven-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Cribbs of this place, died suddenly Wednesday morning about 3:30 o'clock.

The child had been slightly ill for several days, Mr. Cribbs said, but not ill enough to cause any alarm to the parents. She suddenly grew worse in the early morning hours Wednesday and died before a doctor reached the home.

The body was carried to Bostwick, former home of the family, Wednesday afternoon for burial. Rev. J. M. DeVette, pastor of the local Baptist church, conducted the burial ceremony with Rev. Brooks of Bostwick assisting.

A number of people from Bunnell accompanied the body to its last resting place and returned with the sorrowing parents.
