Funeral services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Minnie Mosby, pioneer woman of Flagler County, in the Estes-Krause Funeral Home in Jacksonville, with burial following in Espanola Cemetery, here.

Mrs. Mosby 82 years of age, died in St. Luke's hospital in Jacksonville Monday after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Mosby, a native of Missouri, came to Flagler County in 1912 from Idaho, settling with her family in the Black Point community where she lived until the death of her husband, Oville C. Mosby, in 1944. Since then she spent most of her time with her son, Dick Mosby, in Flagler Beach.

She was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Carl Parker of Birmingham. Ala.; Mrs. Culmer Lammey and Mrs. Lawson Garren of Copper Hill, Tenn.; and Miss Fannie Mosby of Jacksonville; one son, Dick Mosby of Flagler Beach. Also surviving are several grand children, among whom is Miss Patsy Mosby of Flagler Beach.
