H. Evan Deen of Alma, GA., died Tuesday in Augusta, Ga., following an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon in the family cemetery at Baxley.

Mr. Deen resided here about 35 years ago and was employed at that time in the turpentine business. He is the nephew of R. W. Deen, Sr., and W. H. Deen of Bunnell.

He is survived by his wife and four children.
